Matt Savage to Direct Asian Poker Tour Event in Manila

The Tournament Will Take Place in the Philippines From May 27 to June 1

Matt SavageThe Asian Poker Tour (APT) announced today that highly respected Tournament Director Matt Savage will oversee next month’s event in Manila.

The $2,500 buy-in tournament with a $1 million prize pool is high stakes but nothing new for Savage. He is equipped with years of experience and a number of prestigious events under his belt including the World Series of Poker and more than 300 televised tournaments.

This APT event will be held at the Dusit Thani Manila Hotel from May 27 to June 1. Organizers expect more than 400 entrants with a third of them being locals from the Philippines, as poker has been booming in the area.
