Nancy Todd Tyner Wins WPT Ladies Championship

The First WPT Ladies Champion Took Home Nearly $69,000

The first-ever World Poker Tour Ladies Championship took place Friday night at Bellagio, and Nancy Todd Tyner took home the title.

At the televised final table, she defeated Vanessa Selbst heads up to receive the nearly $69,000 first-place prize and the coveted title. Selbst was awarded almost $41,000 for her efforts. The following are the final table results:

  1. Nancy Todd Tyner -- $68,640
  2. Vanessa Selbst -- $40,815
  3. Cindy Kerslake -- $20,405
  4. Janice Kim -- $11,125
  5. Donna Varlotto -- $8,350
  6. Van Tuyet Nguyen -- $6,495
