PaddyPower.com today launched a slew of betting markets on the World Series of Poker main event being held in Las Vegas from July 3, 2008.
The Irish bookmaker has made Daniel Negreanu and Allen Cunningham among the joint 100/1 favourites to make the final table at the event, while Doyle Brunson is a 150/1 shot and Jennifer Tilly a 300/1 outsider along with last year’s winner Jerry Yang.
Known for its “money-back specials” the bookie will refund all losing bets on the "to make the final table" market if an Irishman makes the final table.
The top English player market is dominated by Roland de Wolfe, Dave “Devilfish” Ulliott, and Ram Vaswani all at 50/1, with Vicky Coren at 200/1.
The top Irish player market sees Andy Black top the market at 22/1, along with Ciaran O’Leary and Marty Smyth.
Punters can get 9/1 on a female player making the final table, while Johnny Chan, Phil Hellmuth, and Carlos Mortensen are the top three in the "top past champions” market at 8/1.
