On May 13, SpadeClub held a random drawing for Exclusive members who had been entered into the Party at the Playboy Mansion promotion. Marc “scrummy” Fregoe, a 29-year-old from New York, and David “elk224” Desorcy, a 67-year-old from South Carolina, were selected and flown across the country on an all-expenses-paid trip to the third-annual Celebrity Poker Tournament and Casino Night, hosted at the Playboy Mansion to benefit the Urban Health Institute.
Upon arrival at the event, the lucky SpadeClub members were given goody bags filled with SpadeClub and Card Player souvenirs. The two winners continued to receive a tour of the Playboy Mansion grounds and were given the opportunity to take pictures with Playboy bunnies and celebrities. SpadeClub’s guests then took their seats to compete for the first-place prize, a World Series main-event seat.
“The trip itself was amazing, but the reactions from my friends after seeing the pictures and hearing about the trip is priceless,” said Fregoe, who has proudly changed his personalized avatar on SpadeClub to a picture of himself and two Playboy bunnies he met at the event.
