Strip Poker: Venetian Implements Even Deeper Stack

Starting Chip Counts Have Been Increased for the Deep Stack Extravaganza

The Venetian prides itself on being known for deep-stack tournaments, and because of overwhelming player requests, the poker room has decided to increase the already very generous starting chip counts. Starting today, the Deep Stack Extravaganza will feature the following chip stacks:

  • In all $330 buy-in no-limit hold’em events, the $540 buy-in pot-limit Omaha, and the $540 buy-in H.O.R.S.E. event, players will receive 10,000 starting stacks, with an additional 2,000 chips for a $10 staff bonus, making a total of 12,000 in starting chips.
  • In all $500 and $1,000 no-limit hold’em events, players will start with 12,500 in chips with an additional 2,500 chips for a $10 staff bonus, making a total of 15,000 in starting chips.
  • In all $2,500 no-limit hold’em events, players will start with 15,000 in chips with an additional 5,000 in chips from a $10 staff bonus, for a total of 20,000 in starting chips.
  • The $5,000 championship no-limit hold’em event players will start with 20,000 in chips with an additional 5,000 in chips for a $10 staff bonus for a total of 25,000 in starting chips.

Registration for each event begins at 9 p.m. the night before, and the all of the tournaments start at noon. Play continues until a final table is reached or 2 a.m., whichever comes first, and resumes at 4 p.m. the following day.
