Everest Poker Sponsors German Bar League

The World Poker Store, which provides the intellectual property for running poker tournaments, is expanding its Bar Poker League worldwide. The first league to be established is the German Bar Poker League.

Everest Poker, with over 11 years of online gaming and marketing experience, will sponsor the league which launches the first of its live games in Germany this Autumn. Its sponsorship will also provide online and live special event opportunities for the league's licensees, players, and venues.

World Poker Store Chairperson, Chuck Chastain says, “This partnership will offer our players in Germany even more opportunity to compete worldwide for premiere tournament invites through the league and now through Everest's online contests as well.”

Germany is the first official European country to join the league, and will set the tone for future launches in Europe. The World Poker Store is supported by its advisory board which includes Marcel Luske, Phil Hellmuth, and Patrik Antonius.
