World Series of Poker Europe 2008 Schedule Released

The Mini-Series Takes Place in September

The 2008 World Series of Poker Europe schedule was released yesterday, and the second WSOPE will have one more event than the first European Series, which ran last year. The events will be scattered across London’s London Club International properties of the Fifty, Empire, and the Sportsman and will set up camp in London for at least 14 days. More events may be announced later.

The schedule is:

  • September 19: Three-day £1,500 no-limit hold’em event
  • September 22: Three-day £2,500 H.O.R.S.E. event
  • September 24: Three-day £5,000 pot-limit Omaha event
  • September 27: Five-day £10,000 world championship no-limit hold’em event

ESPN also announced that it will broadcast eight hours of the championship event globally.
