Multiplayer Championship Poker by Real DiceMobile gaming developer Real Dice has announced the launch of Multiplayer Championship Poker for the iPhone and iPod Touch. From 2005 to 2007 consecutively, the game was given the title “Game of the Year” by Smartphone Magazine. Apple users can now avail of the application and connect with thousands of players worldwide by downloading it from the iTunes store for $9.99.

The application, which features ring games, sit-and-go tournaments, and multi-table events starting every 15 minutes, has a lot to offer with its offline mode, with which players can practice and build a career against 200 AI opponents, a strategy guide for players of all levels, and free desktop and Facebook versions, which all play together.

Russ McMahon, director of mobile development at Real Dice, said, “We've developed the game so players from every supported system can play live games together no matter which handset they have. This means that you can log in with your iPhone while you're sitting at the airport and play with your Blackberry-loving best friend, or take on a complete stranger who's logged in through Facebook on the web.
