Bellagio WPT Festa al Lago Adds a Day to the Main EventDeep Starting Stacks and Shortened Hours Require the Extra Day of Play |

Bellagio today announced that the $15,000 buy-in World Poker Tour Festa al Lago Classic main event will add a day of play, pushing back the televised final table to Oct. 26.
This decision is largely due to the new deeper starting stacks at Bellagio. This summer, the Bellagio poker room announced triple stacks for all WPT tournaments and preliminaries. That means that players begin events with three times the buy-in amount, making the starting stack for the Festa al Lago Classic 45,000.
In addition, the main event will begin each day at noon and end at 9 p.m., giving players ample time to rest. The shortened hours and deeper starting stacks require the addition of another day. This will not affect the multiple day 1s.
The tournament series begins on Oct. 1. Find a complete Festa al Lago Classic schedule under the Tournaments tab on CardPlayer.com.
