Full Tilt $750,000 Guarantee

The Full Tilt $750,000-guaranteed tournament had 3,643 entrants last night, which sunk the tournament back into overlay-territory after having avoided it last weekend. The 3,643 entrants built a prize pool of $728,600, leaving Full Tilt to pump in a $21,400 overlay to match the guarantee. The first-place finisher would snag nearly $133,000.

The final two players, nounet and acatlover, were playing for that top payday, the only five-digit prize in the event. The runner-up would earn $80,000, making the next elimination worth more than $50,000. Acatlover clawed his way to victory by taking down the final hand in the event, earning a $132,788 payout.

The final results were:

  1. acatlover — $132,788
  2. nounet — $80,250
  3. absolute6 — $52,500
  4. RonJovi7 — $41,400
  5. bighorn1973 — $31,050
  6. gingabreadman — $23,025
  7. Nicolak — $17,250
  8. mirasol — $13,500
  9. gcnmoo — $10,050

UltimateBet $200,000 Guarantee

Like at Full Tilt, the UltimateBet Sunday major also required an overlay, although this one was a bit more expected, as it has had an overlay in every event since January of this year. The tournament lured 816 entrants, which meant that UltimateBet put $36,800 into the prize pool out of pocket.

Dsands25 and hodgeman faced off for the $45,000 first-place prize in the event. Hodgeman ultimately was felted by his opponent and left the table in second place, earning $27,000. Dsands25 collected the first-place prize and this week’s title.

The final results were:

  1. dsands25 — $45,000
  2. hodgeman — $27,000
  3. pebs44 — $18,500
  4. Nicholas “blumesiusx” Blumenthal — $13,000
  5. mellyy85 — $11,000
  6. xxd33pxx — $9,000
  7. Prez420 — $7,000
  8. douros — $5,000
  9. Craig “ELMO_MASK” Boyd — $3,500
  10. lil_oh_me — $2,000

Bodog $100,000 Guarantee

The Bodog Poker $100,000-guaranteed event had low turnout again last night when 603 entrants bought in. A $100 buy-in got players $166 worth of value, as there was an overlay of $39,700 in the event, nearly 40 percent of the prize pool.

After 601 players had been sent to the rail, it was just woodhawk and tkids left in contention for the top prize. A payday-difference of exactly $10,000 was on the line for this final matchup. Woodhawk wound up with all of the chips in the end to earn that extra 10 grand, putting his winnings at $23,600.

CardPlayer.com readers should remember to check back on Thursday or Saturday for the password to the Card Player-exclusive Bodog $100K qualifier, a tournament in which Bodog overlays five seats to the event.

The final results were:

  1. woodhawk — $23,600
  2. tkids — $13,600
  3. Minesony — $9,100
  4. Beer and Poker — $7,000
  5. JanM — $5,700
  6. the_sickness — $4,500
