The World Series of Poker begins its second voyage into European waters on Friday, Sept. 19, when the first preliminary event at the 2008 WSOP Europe shuffles up at 1 p.m. GMT at the London Clubs International. The first event is a £1,500 no-limit hold’em tournament that lasts four days. The event will run through Oct. 2, when the second WSOP Europe champion is crowned at the conclusion of the European main event. Here is a look at the full schedule for the 2008 WSOP Europe:

Friday, Sept. 19, 1 p.m.: Day 1A — 10 60-minute levels
Saturday, Sept. 20, 1 p.m.: Day 1B — 10 60-minute levels
Sunday, Sept. 21, 1 p.m.: Day 2 — play down to final table

WSOP Europe Main Event Final-Table Results:
Annette Obrestad made history in 2007 when she won the first WSOP Europe main event. She became the first woman to win a WSOP main event, the first person to win the WSOP Europe main event, and the youngest WSOP champion in history. Other professionals who finished in the money in the 2007 European main event included Gus Hansen (10th), Steven Van Zadelhoff (11th), Kenny Tran (16th), Annie Duke (21st), Marco Traniello (22nd), Erick Lindgren (26th), Patrik Antonius (29th), and Jamie Gold (35th).
