The Big Poker Oktober tournament series began on Sept. 25, and it will run through Oct. 12 at the Bicycle Casino in Bell Gardens, California. The event will feature 18 preliminary events and a $500 no-limit hold’em championship event. Every event will feature a guaranteed prize pool. Preliminary events will feature no-limit hold’em, Omaha eight or better, and seven-card stud eight or better. The event will also feature three of the ever-popular no-limit hold’em with multiple rebuys tournaments and one with a single re-buy, which should attract some of the largest prize pools and the most professional players.
Here is a look some of the highlights from the full schedule for Big Poker Oktober:
Saturday, Sept. 27, 7 p.m.: Event 3 — $100 no-limit hold'em with multiple re-buys ($50,000 guaranteed prize pool)
Saturday, Sept. 27, 2 p.m.: Event 4 — $100 Omaha eight-or-better ($10,000 guaranteed prize pool)
Wednesday, Oct. 1, 7 p.m.: Event 8 — $50 no-limit hold'em with multiple re-buys ($20,000 guaranteed prize pool)
Saturday, Oct. 4, 7 p.m.: Event 11 — $300 no-limit hold’em with multiple re-buys ($100,000 guaranteed prize pool)
Saturday, Oct. 4, 2 p.m.: Event 12 — $100 seven-card stud eight or better ($10,000 guaranteed prize pool)
Sunday, Oct. 5, 1 p.m.: Event 14 — $100 no-limit hold’em with a single rebuys ($20,000 guaranteed prize pool)
$500 no-limit hold’em championship event ($100,000 guaranteed prize pool)
Friday, Oct. 10, 7 p.m.: Day 1
Saturday, Oct. 11, 4 p.m.: Day 2
