The first World Series of Poker circuit event championship on the 2008-2009 schedule kicks off tomorrow at the Horseshoe Southern Indiana and it will feature $5,000 no-limit hold’em championship event. The event will take place over three days, with the final table taking place on Tuesday, Oct. 14. Here is a look at the schedule:
Sunday, Oct. 12: Day 1 (all tournament days begin at noon)
Monday, Oct. 13: Day 2
Tuesday, Oct. 14: Final Table
This is the sixth WSOP circuit event to take place in Indiana, and the fourth time one has taken place in the fall. The largest tournament field drawn by a circuit championship in Indiana was 169 players in Fall 2006. The past champions are as follows:

Fall 2006: Chad Batista
Spring 2007: Men “The Master” Nguyen
Fall 2007: Carlos Uz
Spring 2008: Wilbur Futhey
