The third event on the season five schedule of the PokerStars European Poker Tour will feature the first ever Hungarian Open in Budapest, Hungary. The €4,350 event will begin on Oct. 28 and run until the conclusion of the final table on Nov. 1. The event is capped at 500 players and there is two day-one flights on the schedule. The event will be hosted at the Las Vegas Casino in the Sofitel Hotel.
Many PokerStars Team Pros are sure to be at the tournament, including recent Festa al Lago winner, Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier, who is currently in second place in the Card Player Player of the Year race. Other PokerStars Team Pros on the list include Alex Kravchenko, Luca Pagano, Katja Thater, Vicky Coren, and Dario Minieri. Hungarian player Denes Kalo will also be at the tournament. Kalo is Hungary’s most successful poker professional, with two runner-up finishes on the EPT (season four Baden and Grand Final) contributing to his $2,425,362 in lifetime winnings.

Tuesday, Oct. 28: Day 1A (all tournament days begin at 1 p.m.) – eight levels
Wednesday, Oct. 29: Day 1B – eight levels
Thursday, Oct. 30: Day 2 – down to 32 players
Friday, Oct. 31: Day 3 – down to eight players
Saturday, Nov. 1: Final Table
