Latin American Poker Tour Leg in Mexico Announced

PokerStars LAPT Heads to Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico in December

PokerStars.comThe Latin American Poker Tour, sponsored by PokerStars, has announced details of its next stop in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico, from Dec. 5-7, 2008. The event takes place in the stunning beachfront Marival Resort and Suites and has a buy-in of $2,700.

“PokerStars LAPT season one was an overwhelming success, demonstrating the enormous growth and expansion of poker across Latin America and the appeal of these venues for international players,” said LAPT President Glenn Cademartori. “Moving the tour into Latin America’s tourism high season will make it easier and even more enjoyable for players to travel to these exotic destinations for exciting live high-stakes championship poker. Players have a lot to look forward to in season two, as we are doubling the size of the tour. It will now run from November to April, visiting six countries in six months.”
