Highly respected British author Anthony Holden, whose works include the legendary Big Deal: A Year as a Professional Poker PokerStars.comPlayer, has just published his third poker book Holden on Hold’em — a guide to winning at Texas hold’em.

Hitting the market in time for Christmas the book is a guide to hold’em covering fundamentals such as odds, etiquette, bluffing, tells, and the differences between online and live play.

Holden, who moonlights as the Guardian music critic, spent a year playing professionally and has faced the likes of Joe Hachem, Greg Raymer, and Chris Moneymaker.
