The 32 remaining players in the 2009 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure descended upon the EPT live stage and prepared for a long day of grinding it out down to the final table. It took over 13 hours to get the job done, but the final eight are set and ready to battle it out Saturday for the top prize of $3 million.

David Baker Knocks Out Two
Vicky Coren is all in and Justin Rollo moves all in behind her. It is folded around to David Baker and he moves all in, having both players easily covered.
Coren shows 7 5, Rollo shows A 10 and Baker is way ahead with Q Q.
The board comes K 5 2 2 7 and Baker's pair of queens hold up to take out both players. Coren is eliminated in 30th place and Rollo, who started the hand with more chips, is eliminated in 29th.
Bryan "bparis" Paris Eliminated
Pieter Tielin raised to 50,000 and Albert Minnullin moved all in. Bryan Paris then called all in for about 200,000.
Tielin instantly called all in as well for about 336,000.
Tielin showed A A, Paris showed 7 7 and Minnullin showed A K.
The board ran out 6 3 2 4 9 and Paris was eliminated. Tielin more than doubled up and Minnullin was left with just 195,000.
Hafiz Khan Eliminated in 21st Place ($55,000)
We caught up with this action on the turn with a board reading K J 4 Q. Hafiz Khan bet 125,000 and Anthony Gregg made the call.
The river was the 6 and Khan moved all in for 580,000. Gregg tanked for a few minutes before calling and Khan immediately got up from the table, turning over 5 3.
Gregg showed K 10 for a pair of kings and a stunned Khan slowly walked away from the table in 21st place.
David Baker Eliminated in 16th Place ($75,000)
David Baker was facing a raise on his short stack and decided to move all in preflop. Dustin Dirksen made the call and they turned up their hands. Baker held A-10 but he was dominated by the A-K of Dirksen. Baker asked the dealer to, "Do it super slow so I can get the most out of my sweat." The dealer dealt slow but there was no help for Baker at any speed. He was eliminated in 16th place and took home $75,000 in prize money.
Adam Geyer Gets Unlucky Again
Alexandre Gomes raised to 102,000 on the button and Adam Geyer reraised to 350,000 from the small blind. After some thought, Gomes made the call.
The flop came down 10 6 5 and Geyer continued with a huge bet of 625,000.
After considering his options, Gomes then moved all in for 1,479,000. Geyer instantly called with pocket jacks for the overpair and seemed stunned to see Gomes turn over A 5, despite having little to no fold equity.
The turn was the 8 and Gomes sat motionless, awaiting his fate.
The river was the... A! and Gomes jumped out of his seat, high-fiving his buddies who had jumped over the rail to celebrate.
Geyer, despite the uproar at his expense, remained calm and simply paid off the bet, leaving him with just 888,000 in chips.
Gomes, who was just one card away from elimination, is now the chip leader with 3.9 million. Easy game.
Nathan Plotkin Eliminated in 13th Place ($105,000)
Nathan Plotkin moved all in preflop for 445,000 and Kevin Saul called him down. Their cards:

Plotkin was eliminated by the daggar on the river and he will take home $105,000 in prize money. Saul added even more money to his chip lead and he now holds more than 4,500,000.
Dustin Dirksen Doubles Up
Alexandre Gomes raised under the gun and Dustin Dirksen reraised in late position another 210,000. Gomes asked for a count of Dirksen's stack and realized it was another 1.745 million.
Dirksen then said, "Don't do it," and Gomes moved all in. Dirksen immediately called and showed pocket aces and Gomes was in major trouble with Q J.
The board came K 5 5 6 K and Dirksen doubled up to over 4 million in chips.
Kathy Liebert Eliminated in 12th Place ($120,000)
Kathy Liebert moved all in on the short stack with pocket five and was called by Kevin Saul's K 8.
The board ran out Q Q J J 3 and Liebert was eliminated in 12th place. She takes home $120,000 for her effort.
Alexandre Gomes Takes the Lead

and Kevin Saul made the call. The turn brought the 6
and Gomes checked. Saul bet 500,000 and Gomes went into the tank. He made the call and the river rolled out the Q
. Gomes checked and Saul bet 1.3 million. Gomes moved all in for 2.885 million and Saul went into the tank. He eventually made the call and the two players flipped up their cards. Gomes was estatic as he showed down pocket aces against the K-Q of Saul. Gomes won the pot to double up and take the chip lead with over 7 million and Saul was brought back down to earth.
Jan Collado Eliminated in 9th Place ($175,000)
Poorya Nazari raised to 205,000 and Jan Collado Y Fernandez moved all in for just over 900,000.
Nazari made the call and showed A 10, but was momentarily behind to Nazari's J J.
The board came A 3 2 Q 8 and Nazari's pair of aces sent Collado Y Fernandez to the rail on the final table bubble.
