Day 2 at the $10,000 heads-up no-limit hold'em championship at the 2009 L.A. Poker Classic took the field down to the final four on the winners side of the bracket and the elight eight on the losers side of the bracket in this double elimination heads-up tournament. This has been a favorite event for players here at Commerce Casino, and even those who have been eliminated have stuck around to sweat the action from the rails.
David Oppenheim will face Chris Moore in the final four in the top half of the winners bracket, and Evan Roberts (a trainer for Card Player Pro) and James Mackey will face in bottom half tomorrow beginning at 3 p.m.

In the losers bracket things played down to the elite eight, and a number of players are now in the prize money after losing their second match in part I of the elite eight. Each player who busts out of the losers bracket tomorrow is gauranteed prize money, as well. The payouts that have been awarded so far are as follows:

The winner of the losers bracket tomorrow will advance to a challenge round against the champion of the winners bracket.
