PartyPoker.com just introduced two new ways to have fun while waiting for good cards to see the flop with; blackjack and side bets.
At selected tables, players can click a tab that will either slide open to reveal the side bet option, or open a new window that looks like a blackjack table. Both applications allow players to gamble with money they already have in their accounts.
The side bet, which is available on most tables, allows users to place bets on what color flop will be dealt. Players open the box, pick a wager amount and then decide if they think the next flop will come out all red or all black. PartyPoker.com pays 8-to-1 on the bet.
The blackjack game is available at all the tables and is a standard blackjack application. Players can split, double down, and bet whatever they like against the house, just as if they were in a casino. When players have played enough, they can simply close the window and their money will be placed back into their accounts.
