The stable of talent for Card Player Pro (powered by PokerSavvy Plus) might need a new wing built as a result of the recent additions to the team.
Card Player Pro recently announced that Mike “SirWatts” Watson, Christian “Charder30” Harder, and Tom “LearnedFromTV” Chambers have become permanent members of its team of poker coaches, which means the three well-known online poker pros regularly will be contributing instructional poker videos and posting blogs.
Anyone interested in seeing instructional videos by any of these three new coaches can sign up for the seven-day free trial membership to Card Player Pro (which gives access to the full catalog of Card Player Pro videos). Free clips of instructional videos by these pros will also be posted periodically on the Card Player Pro preview page.
Also, Card Player newsletter subscribers gain access to two full-length instructional videos absolutely free in every edition, including a full-length video by Mike “SirWatts” Watson in the upcoming March 2 edition of the newsletter. Sign up for the newsletter now to gain access to that full video this Monday.
The three new coaches also are now posting blogs on CardPlayer.com. Those interested can access Mike “SirWatts” Watson’s blog, Christian “Charder30” Harder’s blog, and Tom “LearnedFromTV” Chambers’ blog in the CardPlayer.com blog section.
The Card Player Pro team now consists of Michael “SirWatts” Watson, Justin “WPTHero” Rollo, Dani “ansky” Stern, Tony “Bond18” Dunst, Andrew “Foucault” Brokos, Christian “Charder30” Harder, Tom “LearnedfromTV” Chambers, and Evan “_Fisherman” Roberts.
Here is more information on the three newest coaches on the Card Player Pro team:
Mike “SirWatts” Watson
Michael “SirWatts” Watson is considered one of Canada’s top online tournament players. He grinded out a bankroll for years while attending college and began making major tournament cashes. At the 2007 WSOP, he cashed five times. Then, at the 2008 Bellagio Cup IV, Watson made the World Poker Tour televised final table as chip leader. He fought through a table full of pros and beat David Benyamine heads up to win the nearly $1.7 million first-place prize. He also plays high-stakes cash games.
Christian “Charder30” Harder
Christian “charder30” Harder is a 21-year-old tournament pro from Annapolis, Maryland. In addition to having great online success, in 2008 he final tabled back-to-back European Poker Tour events in the Bahamas and Germany, becoming the first player ever to achieve such a feat.
Tom “LearnedFromTV” Chambers
Tom “LearnedfromTV” Chambers has been playing poker full-time for a little over two years, mostly online. He plays a variety of games at the mid-stakes level, including $2-$4 to $5-$10 pot-limit Omaha, $10-$20 to $30-$60 H.O.R.S.E., and all forms of no-limit hold’em. Pot-limit Omaha is currently his main game, but he also enjoys playing mixed games and working toward being a well-rounded poker player. His live tournament results include a successful 2008 WSOP, during which he final-tabled two events and finished second in the $2,500 seven-card stud eight-or-better/Omaha eight-or-better event for $143,000. Ironically, he hates watching poker on TV.
