On this week’s episode of The Scoop (sponsored by Full Tilt Poker), Kathy Liebert sits down with Adam Schoenfeld and Diego Cordovez for Part 2 of her interview on CardPlayer TV to discuss backing, drinking, and marketing in poker.
Liebert and the two hosts describe some of the difficulties and dangers involved in backing players and getting backed, and Liebert reflects on the period in her life where she was staked by John Juanda and Erik Seidel.
The poker players also discuss the rare occasions where drinking has a positive effect on people’s games, as well as reminiscing on the olden days when no one knew how important winning a bracelet could be for your marketability.
In Part 1 of the Liebert interview, she discussed her start in poker and how she has had to adjust her style of play once the more aggressive internet players became the norm.
