European Poker Tour Dortmund Day 2 Recap

Only 34 Players Remain in the German Open as Last Year's Winner Vies for Double

A total prize pool of €3,335,000 was created by the record 667 players at the PokerStars.com EPT German Open and  251 players started day 2  vying for the €917,000 top prize Players would play through the bubble and well into the money before the day was done.

Last year’s winner Mike McDonald (pictured right)  was up and down and up throughout the day. One pot that helped saw Vincent Mike Wagner show pocket sevens for a flopped set but McDonald had also a flopped set ... of eights. Wagner was out and McDonald was up to 125,500 in chips. He would go on to make the top 10 in chips and was looking good for a unique repeat victory in Dortmund.
