The United States, Russia, Canada, France, Vietnam, and Indonesia. One country will be victorious. Which will it be?
Poker After Dark’s third edition of International Week will start tonight at 2:05 a.m., featuring six top pros from around the world. In their two previous installments, International Week brought in solid ratings for the poker show and it is unlikely this week will be any different. This week’s shows feature four bracelet winners, a popular member of the November Nine, and a high-stakes cash game regular.
The two newcomers to the show are Ivan Demidov (Russia), who became the first person to final table both the WSOP main event and the WSOP Europe main event in the same year in 2008, and John Pham (Vietnam), whose two bracelets in 2008 propelled him to his Card Player Player of the Year status.
Four veterans return to the show to represent their countries — five-time bracelet winner Allen Cunningham (USA), WPT and WSOP winner David Benyamine (France), the reigning WSOPE main-event champ and four-time bracelet winner John Juanda (Indonesia), and high-stakes cash game specialist Brad Booth (Canada).
Poker After Dark airs every weekday night at 2:05 a.m. on NBC, with a special “Director’s Cut” edition after Saturday Night Live at 1 a.m.
