Karl "discomonkey" Fenton Wins PKR Live II

$75,000 Main Event Attracts 150 Online Players

PKR Live II, the second live event to be held by online poker room PKR.com at London’s Loose Cannon Club, has been won PKR Live II Winner Karl Fentonby Karl “discomonkey” Fenton who took down the $20,000 top prize in the main event.

The 23-year-old Englishman won the $75,000 main event when he paired the board with Q-9 and overtook Simon Wing’s A-9.

“It was definitely one of the best, most enjoyable and most successful weekends of my life,” said Fenton. “I can’t thank all of you guys enough for the cheers and the massive support I received throughout the whole weekend. It was an absolute honour.”

The final table payouts for the main event were:

  1. discomonkey -- $20,000
  2. tigerwing -- $12,000
  3. AnnDav -- $8,500
  4. gladium -- $6,500
  5. karlthekiller -- $5,250
  6. zlatan35 -- $4,250
  7. Rocken1900 -- $3,250
  8. Whiteshark -- $2,500
  9. Jaam69 -- $1,850
  10. macrobody -- $1,400
