The European Masters of Poker (EMOP) heads to the Spearmint Casino in Prague for its third instalment. The €1,100 buy-in event will take place over four days including two starting days, with the first kicking off on Jun. 25. 300 players is the anticipated figure, which would mean an estimated prize pool of €300,000.

Qualifiers are now running across the Entraction Network for as little as €2 or 200 VIP points. Players can also buy in directly through their Entraction account.

The Tour’s premium partners are i4poker, Pinnacle Sports, KickOffPoker, DailyPoker, GoldWin Poker, and 24hPoker. There are nine daily satellites to the €100 Sunday Main Qualifier (7:40 p.m. CET) where at least six packages are up for grabs, and five daily satellites to the €100 Wednesday Main Qualifier (7:40 p.m. CET), which guarantee four packages. Each package is worth €1,800 and includes the main event buy-in and €700 for travel and hotel expenses.

To add some extra spice to the mix, the event will also see a leader board competition where the temptation of extra prizes outside of the regular prize pool should heat things up further. Five percent is taken from each tournament’s prize pool and put into the separate leader board prize pool, and when the event is over, the top 15 overall players will get a slice, with the first prize estimated to be €25,000. The winner will also receive a watch worth €10,000 if he/she has earned 25,000 VIP points between Jan. 1 2009 and the start of the last tournament.

A similar turn out is expected in Prague as that of last month’s stop — Varna, Bulgaria — where 311 players entered and Reuven Dayan from Israel took home the top prize of €77,750(). After Prague the EMOP heads to Barcelona, Spain where the next battle will take place from Jul. 29-Aug. 1.
