Entraction Poker Network Expands Rapidly

First Quarter Figures Shows Turnover Up Over 50 Percent and Profits Up Over 100 Percent

Sweden’s Entraction online poker network, home to DevilfishPoker.com and NoIQpoker, has announced strong interim results for the first quarter of 2009.

Net turnover was up 52.2 percent to SEK121.1 million (€11..5 million) in the period compared to a year earlier while operating profit was up 101.3 percent to SEK15.5 million (€1.5 million) in the first three months of 2009.

Full year figures for 2008 showed net poker turnover up 31 percent to SEK238 million.

The company recently sold its remaining consumer poker sites Martinspoker and 24hpoker to concentrate on the business-to-business market.
