Devilfish Impresses Oxford UnionDave "Devilfish" Ulliott Goes Down a Treat at Oxford Union |

David Ulliott, ambassador for DevilfishPoker.com has joined a long list of names including the likes of Albert Einstein, Richard Nixon, Mother Teresa, the Dalai Lama, Diego Maradonna, W.B. Yeats, and even Kermit the Frog, after a successful performance at the world famous Oxford Union.
Ulliott arrived at the Union in his Hummer last weekend to address 200 passionate poker faces on topics such as bankroll management, how to deal with tilt, playing styles, continuation betting, and bet sizing. He also spoke about the players he admired, getting his nickname, and the toughest laydown he ever had to make. Alongside telling tales, Ulliott played his guitar, took part in a spot of 20p/40p pot-limit Omaha, and signed copies of his biography “Swimming with the Devilfish”.
Joe Barnard, organiser of the event, said, “After six years of trying to get Dave to speak at the Union he finally agreed and he didn’t disappoint. The session has us all engrossed, and Dave is also clearly a master at playing a crowd. His manner is unique, enigmatic, and his dry humour put a smile on everyone’s face. Afterwards, he received a rapturous round of applause. On behalf of everyone in Oxford I would like to thank him for coming to play and speak with us. We’ll be rooting for him at the World Series!”
Elsewhere at Ulliott’s site, DevilfishPoker.com, time is running out in the €175,000 Road to Las Vegas promotion, which ends May 31.
