PartyPoker.com is giving its players a chance to travel in a style that only millionaires know.
The online site is now holding satellites for a chance to win the use of a private jet for 25 hours. The jet can be used to fly to any of 5,500 airports in the world. The winner and six friends will have the jet for their exclusive use. The value of the package is $125,000.
"The party will travel in luxury, just like Hollywood movie stars," said Warren Lush, a spokesman for PartyPoker.com. "They could fly from Los Angeles to London for the day or, in true showbiz tradition, send the jet home from anywhere in the world to get a box of fried chicken."
Runners-up don't get to fly around the world, but will be able to drive anywhere they please in their new Mercedes vehicles. Second place wins a Mercedes G55 AMG, valued at $105,000; third place wins a Mercedes ML500, valued at $75,000; fourth place wins a Mercedes SLK350, valued at $68,000; and fifth place drives ff with a Mercedes C350 4Matic, valued at $50,000.
The main event of the tournament takes place Sunday, Jan. 15. Players can buy in directly for $270, or win their way in through a number of satellites that start as low as $6. Single-table qualifiers for $39 and $22 multi-table sit-and-gos take place 24 hours a day. The $11 multi-table qualifier into the main event takes place every day at 10:35 p.m. EST.
