The festival, which is run in conjunction with the Jackpot Card Club in Dublin, will feature an estimated prizepool of €1 million. Packages up for grabs include a ticket to the Irish Masters , plus accommodation, and expenses. Feeders to these $200 + $15 freezeouts are running daily.

The site is also offering players the chance to become a pro with €100,000 worth of prizes in the form of packages to poker tournaments on offer in its PaddyPowerPoker Pro promotion, and if that isn’t enough, then its Summer Cash Dash has more than $5,000 in cash prizes available each week also.

Eric Booth, Head of Poker at the site said, “Many players have already made plans to get to Dublin for the October Bank Holiday weekend, so we’re happy to be able to release full details on the festival schedule. I’m particularly excited about our new round-of-each freezeout, a tournament which many players have hoped for. We’ve done our best to make the Irish Winter Festival a ‘must-attend’ festival for both local and international players; it’s gonna be great!”

Last year’s winner Fiachra Meere beat a field of 423 to take down the top prize of €150,000.
