The PartyPoker.com Genius promotion, 
which sees the company squaring the value of each incremental 50,000th pot and sharing it among the players at the table, is proving so popular it is being extended from 10 million to 15 million hands.
The minimum payment has also been increased from $100 to $250. So far, $147,000 has been paid out to players over 7.5 million hands. The company will pay out $100,000 on the 10 millionth hand and a further $50,000 on the 15 millionth hand.
A spokesman for the company said, “It didn’t take a genius to extend this promotion as the feedback has been great. With over 7.5 million hands dealt already the golden $100k ten millionth hand is fast approaching. It is difficult to tell when this might happen but our initial estimation is that Thursday could be a seriously genius day!”
