Tonight sees The Poker Show return for its second season. The last series proved extremely popular with guests such as Greg Raymer, Peter Eastgate, Doyle Brunson, Annette Obrestad, J.C. Tran, Marty Smyth, Theo Jorgensen, Neil Channing, Dan Harrington, Roland De Wolfe, Phil Hellmuth, Mike Sexton, Phil Laak, and John Duthie.
This time, the show will have various guest presenters fronting it, starting on Monday tonight with Neil Channing.
Paul Spillane, head of poker at Boylepoker.com, sponsor of the show, said, “This season will see many new and improved segments and features on The Poker Show. The weekly run now starts tonight with regular guest presenters, there will be more structure making it easier for people to access the sections they want via podcast, and the big names will continue to drop in with exclusives and controversial conversations.
“Last season proved there was a market for the show, this season we plan to prove we are the best in that market, giving listeners the most up-to-the-minute news, views, and interviews from around the poker world.”
Guests lined up for the first three shows are Card Player’s own WSOP finalist Jeff Schulman, who will discuss his views on the Series; Leo Margets, the last female to go out in the main event; poker author Jim McManus; and recent Card Player cover star Sammy George on being the first to accept the Durrrr challenge. Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport will also be bringing all the news and interviews from the Asian Poker Tour.
