Brit Charles Mason took down the main event of the APAT’s World Championship of Amateur Poker at the Dusk Till Dawn Poker Club.

Mason had a four-to-one chip lead heads up versus Jamie Reeve, and when both looked down and found an ace, it was all over.

Reeve had A-2 and Mason had A-7 which held up and gave him the title, the trophy, a gold medal, £7,000, plus a Grosvenor UK Poker Tour grand final seat worth more than £3,000 courtesy of BlueSquare Poker.

All events were sold out to max capacity six months before kick-off, with 314 players turning out for the main event from all over the world.
