David “SirSands” Sands is one of the highest-ranked online poker players in the world. In fact, he currently sits in fourth place in the Card Player Online Player of the Year race despite putting in significantly less volume than his peers.
Sands is currently the world-record holder for wins in Sunday majors with an unheard of eight victories, including a Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) win. The Las Vegas, Nevada, resident has over $1.1 million in earnings in the past two years alone.
