Bodog Poker Open to Have Added Money and Big Prize PoolsSeries Will Run Nov. 1-8 |
|
The fourth Bodog Poker Open will feature seven championship events, and every single one of them will have money added to the prize pool.
Bodog recently released the schedule of its Bodog Poker Open IV series to Card Player, and the seven-event championship series will provide players a slew of opportunities to play in tournaments with some added value.
The site is adding $5,000 to most of its premiere tournaments, with $15,000 added to its series-opening tournament on Nov. 1 (a $109 no-limit hold’em event) and $25,000 added to its championship event on Nov. 8 (a $500 no-limit hold’em tournament).
In all, $65,000 will be added to BPO IV, and that doesn’t even include all of the free seats that Bodog will be giving away. Every winner of a preliminary event, for instance, will receive a free entry into the championship event.
In keeping with the tradition of the BPO III, the site will run a concurrent series for its smaller-stakes players. That series will also run Nov. 1-8, and the winner of each of those events will receive an automatic seat into the $500 championship event on Nov. 8. Every player who final-tables one of the events in the smaller-stakes Contender Series will receive a free entry into the Contender Series’ $50 finale on Nov. 8, which has $2,500 added to the prize pool.
