The Bodog Poker Open V Finished on SundayBodog concluded the Bodog Poker Open V yesterday with the $470+30 buy-in $200,000-guaranteed Championship Series main event.

Unknown online player Whitey03 finished first in the 360-player event and scooped $50,000. In addition to the prize money, Whitey03 won a Corum Championship watch worth more than $5,000, courtesy of Bodog.

Even with buy-ins of larger sizes, Bodog gave players with more modest bankrolls a chance to compete. The BPO V was split into two series — the Championship Series, which had buy-ins from $33 to $500, and the Contender Series, which had buy-ins from $6 to $50. Both had eight events and offered tournaments for all bankroll sizes.
