Check Raise Management today announced it had signed up World Series of Poker Player of the Year Jeff Lisandro.
The deal was struck after Check Raise issued an open letter to Lisandro in August offering to represent him.
Nick Ferro of the UK management company said, “Jeff is a phenomenal player he seldom plays tournaments, maybe eight a year, but you will regularly see his name on the final table. Lisandro is one of the guys I always wanted to work with when I started out in the poker industry.
“I’m excited about the next twelve months. Jeff started out before the poker boom, he was a force then and twenty years later he still is, not many can say that”.
Lisandro said, “I have joined an agency that I can trust to support my poker career, check-raise are a perfect match for me”
Earlier this year Lisandro won three bracelet events at the World Series of Poker.
