Actor Wins UltimateBet.com's $1 Million Guaranteed Tournament

Actor Joe Reitman, who has appeared in more than 20 films, including Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, The Perfect Storm, and Clueless, played another role earlier this month, that of major online poker tournament winner.

Reitman won UltimateBet.com's $1 Million Guaranteed Tournament on January 15, which had a prize pool of more than $1.3 million. Reitman won $266,000. The top 10 finishers in the event also won seats to the main event of the 2006 World Series of Poker, a prize package worth $12,000.

Reitman is dating poker professional Annie Duke. He also produces Annie Duke Takes on the World, a poker show that will premiere on GSN in May.

He says dating Duke "doesn't hurt, either. Since Annie started teaching me how to play like a pro, my game has improved ten-fold."

It's the start of a good year for Reitman. In 2006, he will be seen in the Salma Hayek and Penelope Cruz film Bandidas as well as M. Night Shyamalan's upcoming film Lady in the Water.
