Bodog Poker Open IV Starts SundayFirst Event on Nov. 1 Features $15,000 Added to Prize Pool |
|
The events in the Bodog Poker Open IV are guaranteeing a ton of added value, and players’ first chance to snag some of that dead money is this Sunday, when the series kicks off with its first event.
On BPO IV starts on Nov. 1 at 4:30 p.m. ET with a $100+$9 no-limit hold’em event. That event will have $15,000 added to the prize pool, plus a seat in the BPO IV main event for the winner.
The other six events in the series will also have added value, with the $500 buy-in main event on Nov. 8 featuring $25,000 added out of Bodog’s pocket. (See the schedule below for full details on the added money.)
A grand total of $65,000 will be added to the series, along with free seats to the main event. Every winner of a preliminary event will receive a free entry into the championship event.
Like the BPO III before it, the BPO IV will feature a special series for its smaller-stakes players called the Contender Series. That series will run concurrently, and the winner of each of those events will receive an automatic seat into the $500 championship event on Nov. 8. Every player who final-tables one of the events in the smaller-stakes Contender Series will receive a free entry into the Contender Series’ $50 finale on Nov. 8, which has $2,500 added to the prize pool.
