Harrah's will reopen its hotel in Lake Charles, Louisiana, next week, but still doesn't know if its casino will follow.

The 263-room Lakefront Hotel and Harrah's Lake Charles Casino closed after Hurricane Katrina struck in September. The hotel will open with 150 rooms Feb. 1, and the rest of the rooms to follow in mid-March.

The casino will remain closed and Harrah's will continue to review its options for the Lake Charles property.

Last month, Harrah's sold its hurricane-damaged Grand Casino property in Gulfport, Mississippi, to Gulfside Casino Partnership. Gulfside owns the Copa Casino, which sits next door to the Grand Casino and will use the property for expansion.
