Cereus Poker NetworkThe online-poker market has been making the push for synchronized breaks for years, but it wasn’t until earlier this year that the various sites responded by implementing the feature into their software updates. Just last week, the Cereus Poker Network added the functionality to both the UltimateBet and Absolute Poker sites, joining others, such as PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker, who had already made the upgrade.

The launch of synchronized breaks allows both serious and casual players alike to take all of their tournament breaks at the same time. The players will now get five-minute breaks at the 55th minute of every hour. Sitting out of hands to make a sandwich or taking your laptop to the bathroom can now be a thing of the past, as every tournament break aligns to give you uninterrupted rest without missing any dealt hands.

The feature is available for all multi-table tournaments on both sites, but there are some exceptions. The breaks will not begin until all hands in that tournament are completed. In addition, tournaments that are still open for late registration or within in the first or second blind level will not go on break. Also, Sit-and-gos are not eligible for the synchronized breaks at this time.

Card Player is working with both Cereus Poker Network sites to provide new players with deposit bonuses that can total up to $1,300. Click below to start playing today.
