Tom “Durrrr” Dwan has won two out of his three heads up matches as part of the Full Tilt Million Dollar Challenge at Las Ambassadeurs in Mayfair, London.
After losing a few thousand dollars to Italian Marcello “Luckexpress” Marigliano in Wednesday’s match the beleaguered American bounced back playing pot-limit Omaha against Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies on Thursday to book a $68,000 profit over 500 hands and hit paydirt yesterday against Sammy “Any Two” George forcing the bullish UK player to rebuy twice for $250,000 and ending the session up $750,000.
This brought his total profit for the Challenge to around the $800,000 – a welcome fillip given his recent online calamities.
