Big Field Expected in Slovenia for First EMOP Season II Stop as Cran Canaria Replaces Warsaw in Schedule

EMOP Slovenia day 1b sold outNext week’s European Masters of Poker Slovenia is set to get season II of the tour off to an explosive start with day 1B already sold out. Direct buy-in seats are currently available for day 1A only.

The €1,000+€100 buy-in event takes place from Wednesday Nov. 25 to 28 at the Grand Casino, Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Last season, over five legs, the tour attraacted over 1,000 players and paid out €1.6 million in prize money and saw among its winners Johanna Pyysing, Anton Wigg, and Reuven Dayan.

In other news the second stop of European Masters of Poker will move from Warsaw to Las Palmas in sunny Gran Canaria. Also, the dates for the tournament have been changed – the new starting date is 28 January 2010 and the final table 31 January 2010.

The venue will be Casino Las Palmas. The players who qualify through satellites will stay at the Hotel Santa Catalina, a five-star hotel with a perfect location in the same building as the casino. The hotel have a swimmingpool and a spa. It is also close to the beach and the city centre with all possible amusements within close range.
