Body of John Regan found in London CanalPolice in London today said they were “satisfied” that a body found yesterday morning in a canal in Camden, London was that of missing poker player John Regan.

Mr. Regan had disappeared on November 19 after leaving the Bar Tok pub in Chalk Farm and friends and family had been involved in an intensive search, starting a Facebook page to raise awareness and request information.

Friends of Regan in the TV industry – he was a sports analyst – including Claudia Winkleman, Dave Gorman, and David Mitchell had publicly appealed for information.

A post-mortem examination will be held but police told the BBC that the death was not being treated as suspicious.
