The Bicycle Casino in Bell Gardens, California will host the Ho Ho No-Limit Hold’em Dream Team Poker championship event this Saturday, Dec. 19. The tournament will begin at 2 p.m. in the Bicycle Casino event center. Entries are $201 per team or $67 per person. Registration is open to the public and if players don’t have a team, they can be paired up with one.
Players will begin with 25,000 in chips and the blinds begin at 50-100. Levels will be 30 minutes long. The tournament is scheduled for one day and will play down to one champion. The winning team at the tournament will take home three Super Bowl XLIV tickets in addition to $500 cash that has been added to the prize pool. The winning individual of the tournament will take home one Super Bowl XLIV ticket and $500 in cash that has been added to the prize pool.
Team pay-outs will account for 60 percent of the prize pool, leaving the remaining 40 percent to be divided between individual top finishers. Prize-pool distribution depends on the total number of teams that enter the tournament. Check out the full prize pool structure at the tournament’s web page.
