Former EPT Prague Winner Takes Short Stack All the Way to First Place in Italian Poker Tour Venice

Salvatore BonavenaSalvatore Bonavena is the new PokerStars.com Italian Poker Tour Venice champion having taken his final table short stack all the way to the €155,000 first place at the Ca’Noghera Casino at the weekend.

The former European Poker Tour Prague winner topped the 310 player field in the €2,000 + €200 buy in event, eventually securing the title from Giuseppe Minh Khoa with A-6 against K-8 all in preflop. Ace high held up and Bonavena took his career winnings to over $1.3 million.
