Paul Pham Wins Black Belt London Live

London-Based Frenchman Takes Down Black Belt Poker Live Event at Weekend

Paul Pham and Neil Channing at Black Belt London Live EventThe winner of the Black Belt London Live which took place this weekend at the Grosvenor Victoria Casino in London was local Frenchman Paul Pham. He beat Karim Louis heads up to take home $15,000 and the title.

Louis check-raised a flop of JClub Suit 10Diamond Suit 7Diamond Suit and then Pham made his ultimate move. Louis called Pham’s shove with JSpade Suit 6Club Suit for top pair but Pham showed KClub Suit JDiamond Suit and the turn further improved his hand with the KDiamond Suit. The 10Spade Suit river didn’t change anything and the event had its winner. Louis went home with $10,000 for his runner-up finish.

The sold-out $200 + $20 buy-in event saw many high class poker names taking part across the weekend including Ross Boatman, Karl Mahrenholz, Jake Cody, Rory Liffey, James Akenhead, Praz Bansi, Ian Frazer, and Liam Flood.
