The latest addition to Team PKR is Sofia “welllbet” Lövgren from Gothenburg, Sweden. The 20-year-old is a PKR cash game regular and since March 2008 she has become one of the site’s biggest earners from its group of female up-and-comers.
The online cash game professional will now take on her first live tournament as part of the team at the Irish Open, which kicks off on Friday.
Lövgren said, "It’s a pleasure to be the first female on the Team. It’s a very good opportunity for me to get to play big live tournaments and take my online game to the live scene. Playing poker and travelling are my favourite things, so this will be a great experience.’
