France’s NetBetPoker To Launch Sportsbook

With Market Liberalisation Looming in France Another Online Poker Site Seeks Expansion

French businesses do deal ahead of market liberalisationItchesoft Games, owner of free-to-play French online poker site NetBetPoker.fr, has signed a deal with sports betting operator France Pari which will see the bookmaker provide a white label online sports betting site to enhance NetBet’s business ahead of upcoming market liberalization.

Both NetBetPoker and France Pari are currently free-to-play but this is expected to change after new laws dismantling the state monopoly are introduced later this year later this year.

Hervé Schlosser, chief executive officer of France Pari, said the deal, “…allows the company to be present in B2C via its co-branding strategy, but also in the B2B market, with the objective to maximise its future profitability,” Schlosser said.

France Pari recently signed a sponsorship deal with French soccer club RC Lens while poker and sportsbook operators such as PartyGaming and Paddy Power have inked deals ahead of the legalisation and licensing in the French gaming market.
