The PokerStars.com UK & Ireland Poker Tour rolls into the G Casino, Coventry today with the £500+£50 buy in main event getting underway at 2 p.m. (BST).
The 300 capacity, three-day tournament has a guaranteed prize pool of £100,000 with the final table being played out on Sunday April 11 after two day one’s and a second day on Saturday.
Side events include a £100 no-limit hold’em freezeout starting at 9 p.m. tonight and tomorrow (Friday) night, a £300 no-limit hold’em freezeout beginning at 9 p.m. on Saturday, and a £200 no-limit hold’em freezeout starting on Sunday.
So far the tour has seen Card Player writer Padraig Parkinson lift the title in Galway and Joeri Zandvliet win the Machester leg.
