World Series of Poker Circuit -- Caesars Las Vegas Event Begins Wednesday

Caesars Palace Will host 19 Events Total -- Ending with a $5,000 No-Limit Hold’em Championship

Caesars Palace Las VegasThe marquee event of the World Series of Poker Circuit schedule will begin tomorrow in Las Vegas. The first preliminary event to take place at the Caesars Palace Circuit stop will be a $230 no-limit hold’em event and it kicks off 17 days of tournament poker action and 19 poker tournaments. Games spread will include limit and no-limit hold’em along with pot-limit Omaha. There will also be three double stack no-limit hold’em events and a ladies no-limit hold’em event.

The $5,000 no-limit hold’em championship will begin on April 27 and it will crown a champion on April 30. There will be $550 mega satellites for the championship event that will take place on April 25 at noon, and on April 26 at noon, 5 p.m., and 9 p.m. There will be one $340 mega satellite on April 26 that begins at 3 p.m.

Players will begin with 25,000 in chips in the championship event and blind levels will be 75 minutes long, and then increase to 90 minutes once the money is reached. The winner of the championship event will be awarded a $10,000 seat in the World Series of Poker main event in addition to the top prize in the tournament.
